Costs and other practical issues

The education is free of charge, but the students will pay the housing, study books, travel costs, the required insurances and the Student Union membership fee (EUR 93 in the academic year 2010-11). The Student Union membership fee includes the Student Health Service Fee which entitles the student to use student health care services. In addition the student must have a valid travel insurance covering the duration of the stay in Finland and/or residence permit covering the Schengen area.
