Eligibility

We invite applications from:

a) Applicants holding a university-level bachelor´s degree in the field of health sciences (public health), medical sciences (medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine or nursing sciences), or a closely related field (e.g. health economics, population sciences, nutrition, pharmacy, physiotherapy, health education)

b) Applicants holding a university bachelor´s degree from some other field than those mentioned above and 30 ECTS from the field of health sciences either at university or university of applied sciences (polytechnic) level

c) Applicants holding a university of applied sciences (polytechnic) level bachelor´s degree in the field of health sciences and at least 30 ECTS of university-level studies

d) Applicants holding an applied sciences (polytechnic) level bachelor´s degree in the field of health sciences or other significant studies in health and at least three years´ working experience in tasks highly relevant to their proposed major subject.

In addition applicants must present a certificate of proficiency in English according to an internationally acknowledged language test (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS). No separate certificate is required if the applicant has taken his/her matriculation examination (upper secondary school/high school) and at least bachelor's-level university studies on a programme with Finnish, English or Swedish as a medium of instruction.

Applicants must be able to prove their educational background by means of officially authenticated copies of their diplomas. If the documents are not in Finnish, English and Swedish, both the documents in their original language and an officially confirmed complete and precise translation into one of the languages mentioned above is required.
