The Finlandia Hall is a spacious conference and concert hall with calm, festive atmosphere. It has seats for 1,700 in all, 500 of them on the balcony, and is used for congresses, conferences, festivals, galas and concerts of anything from light to classical music. During the concert season it is the home hall of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

The look of the hall and stage can be altered to suit the occasion. A shift of mood is easy by means of lights and sound. The technical equipment of the Finlandia Hall is excellent.

The Finlandia Hall foyer, the Piazza, affords a magnificent view across Töölö Bay. The foyer and restaurant can be combined to form one big area for receptions and exhibitions.

The International Sustainable Development Research Conference will take place in the areas marked with red in the map you find below.
