ENGA14 [FIN-1] Papers


The ENGA14 [formerly TRENAK1/FAST-FIN-1] Finnish Institutions Research Paper is a required Intermediate-level course in the English Translation and Interpreting (ETI) curriculum in which 'Finland Studies' topics are examined via supervised English-language research papers, Central to ENGA14 is the exposition, documentation, and digital editing of academic papers, an archive of which is maintained online. ENGA14 comprises the English-language research paper requirement for the B.A. in English Translation.

ENGA14 is offered each term for 5 ETCS credits [with an option for additional credit]. The course is limited to ETI students, for whom [applies only to Spring 2013] the former-curriculum PK5 Digital Literacy and PK6 Academic Citation & Documentation are prerequisites, as well as AK2 [ENGA13] English Professional Writing. ENGA14 is not required for English Translation minor students, and is not open to international students.
